To avoid clogging my other posts with cats, here is a post dedicated to the cats I was able to photograph in Turkey.
This cat was running away from me.
Cat on the roof!
These cats were the centerpiece of the Hagia Sophia.
Who owns the Hagia Sophia, you ask? This cat!
Same.
I ate lunch with this guy in Istanbul.
This cat of Izmir wanted all the love!
This cat in Izmir promptly followed me.
Is she happy or is she scheming?
Welcome to Izmir: here’s a cat.
BABY CAT.
In Bodrum, the terrors of the street are cats on motorcycles.
Wait for it… wait for it… yes, there he is!
The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus it actually a place where people go just to stroke this cat…
…I may have spent more time cuddling her than looking at the ruins…
…but she really was a very good tour guide…
…stopping to point out each detail…
…and never letting me out of sight!
Oh, and the dogs!
These puppies were bundles of joy, chasing each other around and around.
This sleepy dog kept watch at the Agora Open Air Museum.
But he wasn’t terribly concerned with me.
